Fuel sender for Mercedes R107 tank with screw cap

Tank device only for models with screw version, not for tanks with plug-in version.  Please also note our last photo to see the difference between the two R107 fuel sensors.

The screw version is usually installed on vehicles with model 107042 280SL from chassis no. 002002, +
107043 350SL to end no. 012556 + 107044 450SL to end no. 034421, additionally in each model:

• 107 041                300SL
• 107 042                280SL
• 107 045                380SL
• 107 046                500SL
• 107 047                420SL
• 107 048                560SL

In general, you can say that these screw fuel tank sensors were installed from the end of 1976.

Sometimes there are other versions for the older versions and SLC. It can also be the case with older versions
where the plug-in version 0404 is used, a later tank was installed and thus the screw version
then becomes due.
